How to update current version of Wayward to the Latest version?

Hi all,
I currently have Wayward 1.7 downloaded on my pc and would like to update it to version 1.9 but I’m not sure where to look to do that. I don’t want to uninstall and reinstall and lose all the recipes and progress I’ve made in current game.

Unfortunately, the process is a little rough at the moment. You will need to download/run 1.8, load the game, save, then repeat this process for 1.9, 1.9.1, and 1.9.2.
