KeymasterNets and shovels now have a “Gather Treasure” option as noted in the item uses.
I’ll make sure to edit the wording on that decode message as it’s not exactly true anymore.

There should be some errors in there.

Looks like you found yet another container bug!
I’ll fix this up ASAP. The technical reason this was happening is the container was the very first item in your inventory and that “0” value was causing it not to be recognized. Not sure how I haven’t seen this until now haha.

KeymasterUnfortunately the offline version uses Chrome 32 (webkit) as a base. There’s no way to change this until node webkit updates their client.
You can use the Save/Load from File modification to export and import your save between the two versions quite easily.

KeymasterGot it! Glad you were able to make a save so I could re-produce it finally! This will be fixed in the upcoming beta 1.9.
“Fixed a long standing obscure bug where if an item decayed in an inventory container and possibly envitem/tileitem that was at the 0 spot in the array (first spot in inventory), it would not remove it as the if check would bypass 0.”

Basically an implementation of IndexedDB/WebSQL/localStorage (whatever the browser supports).

KeymasterCrafting exceptional (or remarkable/legendary) items is based on a few things:
Firstly, the quality of the resources used. So for example, if you use exceptional items in the craft, you have a higher chance at crafting higher quality items. The maximum bonus you can get is if all items used in the craft were Exceptional (or Legendary).
The second factor is your skill in Stonecrafting (or any other applicable skill in which ever craft you are doing). The higher, the more quality bonus chance you get.
Another easy way to get rid of items is to throw or drop them in deep water. Be careful not to drop anything important!
There’s also an option to “Drop on Gather” if you are playing the weekly version which will allow you to drop any items you get on gathering.

KeymasterDid you actually implement it into Wayward through the source? I’m asking because I’m definitely interested in adding it, but A* was a bit over my head last I tried. Would love to see any code examples that you may have of it being put into Wayward.
Also, ya, I could imagine it being slightly unbalanced at first… definitely will need some balancing.
Not sure if you checked out some of the Weekly progress but several bits and pieces of your ideas have found their way into the game. More soon!

Mouse/tap movement/pathfinding is definitely planned and on the todo, as is A* (usable for monster pathing as well).
