JamesIIIModeratorThats awesome! Thanks for all the videos and I’m glad you like the map. I’ve made a handful of small changes based on things you’ve said while playing so I owe you my thanks for the adjustments. I look forward to your next video, all the versions are just to make the whole map itself. If you just wanna do a lets play and sorta wander everywhere, you’ll get the best feel for the map. There are so many miniature scenes and locations you will really get a kick out of. Cheers ^_^

JamesIIIModeratorThis is great you guys fixed it. I sorta reverse figured out how to write most of this from what others have posted so its harder for me when the format changed or just knowing little parts of how to write the code. I’d really like to learn how to make different chapters to post text that can be qued by either a button or better yet, walking onto a specific tile location. Perhaps when another button is pushed it would do a inventory check to see if the needed items were present and then based on a true/false check, dispense a not completed message or completed message with reward item. Just a few thoughts, I’m not sure how to accomplish these things.

JamesIIIModeratorYou need to be next to and facing the green dot when you decode to map to spawn the chest. Standing on the dot will not work. If it is in water, you need to have a fishing net. Hope you can find your treasure!
JamesIIIModeratorPerfect, thank you very much. Also, would it be possible to create a saved game stat that is comprised of everything that is on the map, which could then be used like a new map generation? What I mean is, could you save your world, leave, then return to that world later using that saved game state as the new world thats loaded. The benefit of this would be you returning to your saved map with the inventory of your adventures elsewhere, while at the same time, all the treasure on your old map would be there waiting for you. I don’t know if a sort of “Home Base” idea is something you guys are interesting in having in your game but I think it could be a really cool addition. Sorry for the bad grammar n stuff, my engrish bad.
