All better now it would seem. I wonder why it was doing that though. Thanks for the response.
JamesIIIModeratorI can’t seem to get 1.7.2 to work with either a new game or a save file. I can see my hud but the screen is black.
JamesIIIModeratorJamesIIIModeratorJamesIIIModeratorAwesome!!! One last question to help improve an already existing mod. When you open the map currently the messages usually overlap and block a portion of the picture until you clear the messages. Is there a command to clear messages that I could squeeze into the code for when the show map button is pushed?
JamesIIIModeratorIs there a way to reset the talent to zero?
JamesIIIModeratorAre you loading it using the current saveload mod?
JamesIIIModeratorJamesIIIModeratorJamesIIIModeratorWould modifying the space 1 square above your current still be done as changeTile(dirt,x,y+1);?
I only ask because 244 seemed like a rather large number to use.JamesIIIModeratorPineapples and coconuts can be very helpful early on as well. Avoid eating anything but these two things until you really have to as most of the other foods tend to make you more thirsty. Wandering around a bit before you make base camp can lead to you finding the extra materials you will need to survive. It’s also a good idea toadapt to whatever you’re given on the particular map you get. Sometimes a kiln is possible early on and other times it will take some serious exploring to find sandstone. Just keep looking for a giant rat. They really can make or break a new game by providing more waterskins and also leather armor.
JamesIIIModeratorThe renderTiles function no longer seems to work, is there a new method of tile manipulation that was implented? If so, could you give me an example of how to render a specific tile now?
JamesIIIModeratorI fixed the link and I’ll post it at the bottom here again. It can also be found under the Mini Game Thread.

JamesIIIModeratorThe method you are talking about would require a flask, which requires a few more things like a kiln(needs sandstone). Your best bet to get a steady water supply at first is a stone water still(Large Rock x3 + Sharpened Item + String + Pole-like + Waterskin + Fuel-like). Killing a rat or two early on is helpful to get a waterskin if you are unable to find a message in a bottle along the beaches.Good luck and I hope this helps.
